About Stephanie Chambers…

Stephanie Chambers has been in long term care for the past 32 years. She began her healthcare career at the age of 15, when she worked for her mother at an inner city, Cleveland nursing home. Stephanie’s love for the elderly inspired her to become and administrator and to become an advocate for residents and families in her care. 

She holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science from Cleveland State University, and Masters of Science Degree in Healthcare Management from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She is a frequent speaker at trade associations and health care communities. Her areas of interest and expertise include team building, census development, social programs, non pharmacological interventions for behavioral disturbances, and depression in the long term care setting. She had her Ohio Nursing Home Administrator License for more than 20 years, and her Ohio CEAL for 8 years.

Stephanie lives in Medina, Ohio with her husband of 21 years, Jack and two sons. Jackson is her 17 year old is an avid golfer. Stephanie’s other son, Sean is 14 years old and plays tennis. Stephanie’s passion for speaking on behalf of those without a voice spills over into advocacy for animal rights. This had lead to what is fondly know as “The Chambers Zoo.” The zoo includes rescued pets that currently include: 5 dogs, 4 pet rats, 2 birds, and 3 rabbits. 

Stephanie consults for long term care providers in areas of staff engagement, regulatory compliance, customer service, and survey preparedness.
