Here is the Inside Story….
Stephanie Chambers, MS, LNHA, CDP, CEAL (Ohio)
Founder, Insider’s Insight
Stephanie Chambers has been in long term care for the past 30 years. She began her healthcare career at the age of 15, when she worked for her mother at an inner city, Cleveland nursing home. Stephanie’s love for the elderly inspired her to become and administrator and to become an advocate for residents and families in her care.
She holds a BA in Political Science from Cleveland State University, an MS in Healthcare Management from Springfield College in Massachusetts, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Healthcare leadership studies at Ashland University. She is a frequent speaker at trade associations and health care communities. Her areas of interest and expertise include team building, census development, social programs, non pharmacological interventions for behavioral disturbances, and depression in the long term care setting.
Stephanie lives in Medina, Ohio with her husband Jack, and two sons, Jackson and Sean. Stephanie’s passion for speaking on behalf of those without a voice spills over into advocacy for animal rights. This had lead to what is fondly know as “The Chambers Zoo.” The zoo includes rescued pets that currently include: 4 dogs, 4 pet rats, 1 mouse, 2 birds, and 3 rabbits.

Christina Ice / Vice President of Marketing
After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising from Mercyhurst University, I began my career in healthcare as Marketing Director for an Alzheimer’s Assisted Living Community where I quickly discovered my passion for helping, educating, and supporting seniors, the community and colleagues in healthcare. In 2010, I proudly became the Director of Community Relations for Integrity Home Care where I continue to help others navigate healthcare at home and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the appropriate care. My love for design inspires me to create collateral and digital content to build partnerships and advance brand presence. You can see some of my work at integrityhomecareltd.com or facebook.com/integrityhomecareltd.
While curating campaigns, community support and partnership development are my primary professional functions, I thrive on being a wife, sports mom to my daughter, son and Olde English Bulldogge!

Larry Hibshman / Vice President of Branding
At 95 years of age my Dad passed in 2011. He and my Mom were in their 65th year of marriage. Mom was devastated but fought through as was her character and her faith. The following year Mom knew it was time to move to Senior Care. Finding excellence in senior care and walking in the footsteps of a devoted son lead me to create successful marketing campaigns for communities.
We ultimately selected a facility that was fresh and bright and friendly. This facility was directed by Stephanie Chambers. Upon meeting Stephanie it was evident that there was a burning passion in her heart for her work and her Senior Family. She directed the staff with that same care, passion and love and my Mom was in the very best care because of that.
For several years until Mom passed in 2014 Stephanie showed personal attention to my Mom like no other. I always knew that my Mom was in the right place because of Stephanie and her leadership. She showed me the real vision of caring for our Seniors by the examples she set daily. I am blessed to have an ongoing relationship with Stephanie. She is a very special Angel!

Kristina Svancara / Vice President of Social Media
My journey in the health field started at a young age. I was 10 years old as I watched my grandmother die of cancer. I was going to grow up and cure cancer, as all children tend to believe. As I grew I knew I wanted to help people. To be hands on, to be their voice when they couldn’t. I started off as a nursing assistant in nursing homes. I have worked with the geriatric and the pediatric population in nursing homes. I then went to school and received my Medical Assistant degree. I then worked with special needs children. I have treasured the relationships that were formed. I may not have cured cancer, but I did make a lot of people smile, and maybe forget about their pain for a moment.
When asked about joining Insiders Insight, Kristina said, “This was a natural progression for me. I lived the role of caregiver with my dad and caring for children. Both populations are precious to me. Getting this important information out to others is a privilege.”
Kristina lives in Medina with her husband of 22 years, Marc and their son Frankie. A new standard poodle will join the family in the coming months.
